Contribute to the Seminary
The Shia Seminary of Islamic Studies is a charity-based non-profit organisation, established and sponsored by Mujtaba Welfare Trust (Reg’d UK Charity No: 1127457)
It is the obligation of the community as a whole to ensure that there are some amongst them who study the religion and become the teachers in the community, so that the community can safeguard itself and remain attached to the Islamic faith, as mentioned in the Holy Quran:
"Why should not then a company from every party from among them go forth that they may apply themselves to obtain understanding in religion, and that they may warn their people when they come back to them that they may be cautious?" (9:122)
It is, therefore, incumbent on the community to support those who go forth to dedicate their lives in studying the teachings of the Quran and the Ahlul-Bayt [a]. This support can be through enabling students and easing their paths towards this noble cause, and this support can be financial.
We would be extremely grateful for any financial support that the community can provide, as we will be relying on it.
